Goal
Build a strong organic foundation and improve visibility for a healthcare eCommerce brand through structured content, optimized product pages, and smart internal linking.
Project Background
This was my first-ever SEO project for a healthcare eCommerce brand focused on natural wellness products.
The website looked good but lacked SEO depth — there was no clear topical structure, the product pages had thin information, and the site’s internal linking was random.
My goal was to create a clean, scalable SEO ecosystem based on what users actually search for — ingredients and health issues — while improving the flow between pages.
Key Objectives
- No content strategy or topic clustering.
- Weak internal linking structure.
- Product pages lacked keyword intent and value.
- Missing schema and on-page structure.
Tools I Used: My SEO Toolkit (aka Survival Kit)
Tool No. 01
GSC
This is the official report card and message center from Google. It shows us if Google can find and list your website pages and tells us about any serious website health problems.
Tool No. 02
Analytics
This is the main scorekeeper for your website. It carefully counts how many people visit, where they come from, what they click on, and how many of them buy or sign up.
SEO Strategy & Execution
Pillar Content Framework
- Created topic clusters around ingredients (e.g., Turmeric, Ashwagandha) and health concerns (e.g., immunity, sleep, digestion).
- Designed pillar pages that connected relevant product pages and blogs.
- Built a foundation of topical authority that helped Google understand site context better.
Product Page Optimization
-
Added in-depth content: benefits, usage guide, FAQs, ingredient list, and schema markup.
-
Optimized titles, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
-
Focused on aligning product content with search intent
Smart Internal Linking
- Linked ingredient → product → blog pages.
- Improved site crawlability and user navigation.
- Strengthened authority flow between pages.
Technical & On-Page Enhancements
-
Fixed duplicate meta data and improved heading hierarchy.
-
Simplified URL structure.
-
Monitored progress via GA4 and GSC
